#this is one of the saddest scenes i have ever seen #not the jack-kate dynamic specifically but the reasoning and justification behind jack’s and juliet’s actions #when die together live alone is the only option and the love you had wasn’t enough #’if i never meet you then i never have to lose you’ #it’s dramatic and contrived and makes a mess out of the quadrangle but when you look at this scene #it’s about the most depressing message about love lost has ever put forward #sawyer and kate would risk being erased if it means the ones they love would be happy #it’s hope at it’s most hopeless
